为了鼓励海外人才来华生活和工作，国家出台了《外国人在中国永久居留享有相关待遇的办法》。这个政策是为了落实并保障持有中国永久居留身份证的外籍人士在工作、生活和创业方面的权益。正因如此，越来越多的外籍人士提交了中国的永久居留申请，并且有一些外国人成功获批了中国永久居留身份证。那么，当拿到中国永久居留身份证后，有哪些注意事项是外籍人士必须要知道的呢？

As a result, more and more foreigners have submitted applications for permanent residence in China, and some foreigners have been successfully approved for permanent residence in China. So, when getting a Chinese permanent residence ID card, what are the precautions that expats must know?

1．中国永久居留身份证是获得在中国永久居留资格的外籍人士在中国境内居留的合法身份证件，可以单独使用。

The Chinese Permanent Residence ID Card is a legal identity document for foreigners who have obtained the status of permanent residence in China to reside in China and can be used separately.

2．获得在中国永久居留资格的外籍人士在出入中国国境时，虽然无需签证且不限次数，但需中国永久居留身份证和护照同时使用。

Foreigners who have obtained the status of permanent residence in China need to use their Chinese permanent residence ID card and passport at the same time, although they do not need a visa and there is no limit to the number of times they enter and exit China.

3．获得在中国永久居留资格的外籍人士无需提前确认酒店旅馆是否能接待，亦可使用中国永久居留身份证在酒店旅馆住宿，并需配合办理住宿手续。但在酒店旅馆以外其他住所居住或者住宿的，仍需在入住后24小时内向居住地公安机关申报临时住宿登记。不向公安机关申报住宿登记或者留宿未持有效证件外籍人士的责任者，即便该外籍人士获得在中国永久居留资格，仍将被依法处以警告或罚款处罚。

Foreigners who have obtained the status of permanent residence in China do not need to confirm the reception of the hotel in advance, and can use the Chinese permanent residence ID card to stay in the hotel, and need to cooperate with the accommodation procedures. However, those who live or stay in other accommodations than hotels are still required to report temporary accommodation registration to the public security organ of their place of residence within 24 hours after check-in. Those responsible for not reporting the accommodation registration to the public security organs or staying foreigners without valid documents will be warned or fined in accordance with the law, even if the foreigners have obtained permanent residence in China.

4．中国永久居留身份证的有效期为五年或者十年，需要在证件有效期满前1个月以内申请换发。如遇证件损坏或者遗失的，需要及时申请换发或者补发。

The validity of the Chinese permanent residence ID card is five or ten years, and you need to apply for renewal within one month before the validity of the ID card expires. If the certificate is damaged or lost, it is necessary to apply for replacement or replacement in time.

5. 被批准在中国永久居留的外籍人士，在获得永久居留资格后，每年在中国累计的居留时间不得少于三个月。确因实际需要每年不能在中国累计居留满三个月的，需经长期居留所在地的省/自治区/直辖市的公安厅、局批准，但在五年内必须在中国累计居留的时间不得少于一年。

A foreigner who has been granted permanent residence in China shall, after obtaining the permanent residence qualification, stay in China for a cumulative period of not less than three months per year. If the applicant is unable to stay in China for a cumulative period of three months per year due to actual needs, the applicant shall obtain approval from the public security department or bureau of the province/autonomous region/municipality where the long-term residence is located, provided that the cumulative period of residence in China must not be less than one year within five years.
